    Thousands of American Muslims and activists marching on the White House in a last effort to persuade President Barack Obama to dismantle a discriminatory program that singled out Arabs and Muslims for surveillance, before President elect Donald Trump. Protestors proceeded from the Department of Justice at 950 Pennsylvania Avenue and ended the march in Lafayette Park outside the White House while calling on Obama to tear up NSEERs. Several of the largest progressive and civil rights groups were among the crowd including the ACLU, MoveOn.org, Desis Rising Up & Moving (Drum) and CREDO.
